I designed this site for WordPress to accommodate the client's need for easy updating. Because the content was not likely to grow, this application was a perfect fit for them. The company founder's love for fly fishing is reflected in the company name and was visually applied to the design.

Playground by the Sound

Playground by the Sound is a community-built playground in the North Meadow of Chambers Creek Properties that promotes active play, stimulates imagination and provides learning opportunities for children of all abilities. They required a site that conveyed the beauty and creativity of this unique location. I designed and helped organize their content to fit a design that suited their goal.

Karlene approached me to create an identity that reflected her personal approach to counseling in a way that would resonate with the demographic clientele of high-tech professionals. As a result we came up with a look that conveyed the fresh, crisp, cleansing feel you get after a Northwest rain.

FAI had a website that was not working for them. They contacted me to mold their existing identity with beefier content into a web experience that better represented their scope and expertise. The site needed to set them apart from other competitors and yet fit the user-experience that their clients would expect.

The folks at True Light had a website the needed visual tender-loving care. They desired a new site structure that was easier to update and better represented their Alhambra, California location and their bilingual congregation. I took on the English version of the site and provided a template that they could use to build the Chinese version of the site.

Client Extranet for Russell Investments

While employed at Russell Investments, I had the pleasure to art-direct and lead design for a series of award-winning domestic and international extranet web sites which provide extensive sales and service resources for financial professionals selling Russell products.

RussellLINK is used by 65% of all active clients on a regular basis to provide financial advice to their clients. The site is a regular winner of the Kasina Top 10 Advisor Sites. I was involved with the design of the site since inception. The site has since undergone three redesigns, all of which I have headed and was continually involved with enhancing the site until my departure from the company.

I developed and led overall conceptual design direction, management of design staff, delivery of all product design components and guideline development based on usability. I feel proud having provided a final design that has lasted for nearly a decade of research-driven investment strategies.

Russell.com Gateway

Over the past 15 years Russell.com has evolved from a homepage of general content buttons to a dynamic, global site. I have been involved from day-one providing code, design and guideline specifications. One of the last projects I worked on for Russell was a global gateway for users around the world to access localized information regarding Russell Investments and their services.
